this is one of the most successful efforts in recent history.

the recent fallout of the venizuelan president (who is a hardliner) with the rebel movement also set the stage for their defence stand. it is expected that the rebel movement will not last long engaged in violence.

its time "ONE MAN'S TERRORIST STOP BEING ANOTHER MAN'S FREEDOM FIGHTER", throughout the world.

If early reports of a payout are unfounded, this operation sounds more like an Israeli operation in its heydays( ie 60-early80s)rather than from the not-so reputed Colombian one;) . Indeed an ex-Mossad is supposedly one of the planners.
However the FARC still has an estt 10,000 troops with a shrinking but supportive peasant base--I would expect to see them around a decade later too, but militarily much less potent.
