Tigers' losing game

Many rumours are circulating about the escape of Velupillai Prabhakaran. The most recent one is where the LTTE supremo had escaped by plane. The Navy claimed its gunboats opened fire at an aircraft flying over Chalai. The Air Force has denied this claim. In another claim, Prabhakaran is now living in Malaysia.

We have obtained definite proof that Prabhakaran was still hiding in the 400km2 area now under siege until the 12th. A hardcore cadre captured recently claimed that he had seen Prabhakaran on the 12th, in person.

Meanwhile pro-LTTE media had claimed it sank a Dvora FAC off the northeastern coast. A group of LTTE suicide boats were sent to penetrate the naval blockade in force off the coast of Mulaitivu and Nagarkovil, which was effectively engaged by the Navy. One boat exploded close to a Dvora causing reparable damage.

The LTTE strategy to break through the blockade comes in the wake of Army plans to advance along the Nagarkovil-Chalai coast upto Mulaitivu thus effectively isolating and trapping the LTTE to a land area smaller than Thoppigala.

The Tigers have in a way, isolated themselves by abandoning 26 Mirage Class boats at the beginning of the Kilinochchi siege. They stripped 15 boats of their armaments and hid the boats away from SLAF's watchful eye, but some were destroyed in air strikes.

The task of suffocating the Tigers is gradually being implemented by the 55, 58 and 59 Divisions as we speak. The move could completely suffocate the LTTE giving the Army the opportunity to systematically get at the remaining 200 or so LTTE leadership.

MULLAITTIVU: MIG 27 of the Sri Lanka Air Force shelled an LTTE main battle tank (MBT) located about 2 km north of VISVAMADUKULAM Saturday (24) night around 9.45 p.m. and disabled the tank.

Again, MI 24 fighter helicopters conducted another aerial attack on LTTE positions Sunday (25) around 12.30 p.m. in the same area in support of the 58 Division troops on a mission to recover the damaged LTTE tank.

Poor Gullible Sri Lanka Diaspora Tamils: Until the last day, the LTTE will lie to you, as you see here. Hang on to your wallets...the LTTE mafia will be knocking on your doors soon. THERE WILL NEVER BE AN EELAM IN SRI LANKA. DEAD AS A DOORNAIL!

Today, Mullaitivu was captured. No SLA soldiers died in the flood waters from the KalmaduKulam Bund blasted by the LTTE; it only destroyed the homes of our people in the Vanni.

The LTTE is shelling the safe zone declared for the Vanni civilians and killing refugees to blame the Sri Lanka Army. They have killed all the severely injured LTTE cadres in the hospitals, in addition to 200 injured cadres previously killed after the fall of Paranthan and Kilinochchi.

When are you going to learn not to support these LTTE monsters, and live in one country, as one people with equal rights and responsibilities?

Sea Tiger cadres may have entered Tamil Nadu
25 Jan 2009 02:27:00 AM IST

RAMESWARAM: A boat was washed ashore at Rameswaram on Saturday with markings indicating that it was from Sri Lanka.

Police personnel here have expressed doubts that the boat may have been used by LTTE men to enter Tamil Nadu.

Local fishermen informed the Temple police in Rameswaram that a Sri Lankan boat had been washed ashore near Cherankottai and a team led by inspector Muthukumar seized the boat.

When they searched the boat, the police found diving equipment, cylinders, 100 litre diesel container, gloves, a bag and a fisherman’s identity card from Mannar.

Superintendent of Police Senthilvelan and officers from the intelligence unit inspected the boat and also questioned the fishermen of Cherankottai.

Intelligence unit personnel suspect that four to seven Sea Tiger cadres from Nachikuda or Nedunthivu may have entered the State by using the boat belonging to fishermen of Mannar or Pesalai.

The thermo cylinders found in the boat could enable a person to remain under sea for an hour, intelligence officers said.

Police said, to prevent LTTE men from escaping, they have intensified search of vehicles leaving here for the main land. Guys I have news.

=================
Source: LNP.

The rumor started on Siber news, someone or some very creative LTTEr decided to count the people in the area flanking the tank bund, and he thought there were 1000 odd people.
the water level is 2 feet, it seems it is directed towards north-east direction towards the lagoon.

LTTE is spreading rumors, so they can milk another few thousand dollars from the diaspora.

we have reached mulativu town now (59)
only about 20,000 in direct operations, so that leaves a big big reserve force if there is a need.

but the loss of life is actually like 200 Tamil IDPs killed by LTTE. the inconvenience to SLA is quite minimal considering the support forces we have ready.

remember our SLA had to cross 8 feet deep water, reaching 10-20 miles when they were attacking paranthan? Special forces training include swimming with a 50 kilo back water soaked.

Another defect, Mr. Sampanthan

"(Lanka-e-News, January 25, 2009, 10.30 AM) “Neither LTTE nor Prabakaran is important to us. We do not care their victory or defeat. We represent the welfare of the Tamil people who elected us to parliament,” says Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Trincomalee district MP R. Sampanthan.

Talking with Sunday Lankadeepa Sinhala newspaper he says, “We are the representatives of political parties. We represent Tamil people. There should be freedom to engage in politics in a democracy. Linking us to a terrorist organization and suspecting us is wrong. We have to mention one point. Both LTTE and we have similar objectives. That is the well being of the Tamils. We are in a democratic path,” says Sampanthan.

He said that LTTE had not waged war and the government did. “As far as I know, LTTE did not want a war. They were committed to Tamil people. They were pushed to war by the government.”
Sampanthan says that around 300,000 people stranded in Vanni live amid utmost difficulties. World should know the realty there, he said. Therefore, Sampanthan appeals to appoint a committee of independent individuals including the MPs to monitor the area. "

Funniest part is "We represent the welfare of the Tamil people who elected us to parliament"

Caste Clashes in Tamil Nadu

Oh My God, Is it possible that there is discrimination among Tamils in Tamil Nadu?

Building walls to separate communities; preventing worship as equals in front of God?

How can that happen among these perfect "holier-than-thou" beings who criticize Sri Lanka?

Additional judge to probeUthapuram
ExpressBuzz.com, 23 Jan 2009

MADURAI: The Madurai Bench of the High Court appointed an additional judge to probe the incidents in Uthapuram, near Perayur, in Madurai district.

S K Ponnuthai, district secretary of the All India Democratic Women’s Association, in her petition before the Bench had said that there were 3,000 people living in Uthapuram. There were caste clashes in the village during 1948, 1964 and 1989. In order to prevent clashes between the two communities in the village, a 300-metre-long and 10-foot-high wall was constructed across three roads.

The Adi Dravidars of the village have not been permitted to offer worship at the Muthalamman temple located on a poromboke land in the village. On April 6 last year, a portion of the wall was demolished for accessibility and this led to a dispute between the two communities. When the walls of the Muthalamman temple were whitewashed in preparation for its ‘kumbabhishekam’, another clash erupted on October 2, 2008. Police entered the Adi Dravidar Colony and damaged many houses and property. Many persons were also injured.

Jack1234,

This is the email I got it from , Hareendra Maithripala (Email - hareen_m@yahoo.com)

"Thank you for your inquiry. I'm Hareendra Maithripala. I am not involved in the running of this programme and do not know any child or their families personally. I will only let you know the procedure (unfortunately Sevavanitha web site does not contain any information regarding the procedure). You will get all the details directly from the Army Sevavanitha unit. After receiving the recipient's details you can verify the details by contacting the recipients directly.

Attached is the sponsorship application form which we received from one Captain CN Himbutugoda of the Army. (You can find the contact details of the Captain in the form)

Please fill the attached form giving details of the type of child you would like to sponsor and email it to the address specified in the form. Sevavanitha will then get back to you with the details (child’s name, mother’s name, address, account numbers etc) of the child/children. Once the names and contact details are received you can directly get in touch with the parent of the child and verify the details. Once you are satisfied with your verification you can start depositing the funds to the child’s account. The stipulated monthly amount is Rs.750 or Rs.1000 (depending on the age of the child) but if you wish you can deposit more. After you start depositing you should inform Sevavanitha about the sponsorship so that they can write off the name of the child. Sevavanitha does not seem to monitor in anyway how the money is sent. They only provide the details of the kids.

In our case we wrote to the mothers of the 2 children asking for verification of their account details and asked for a phone number. From the mother we found out that the money goes directly to the child’s account and the child would be able to withdraw once s/he reach age 18. On most months we deposit the funds directly to the children’s account, but occasionally (eg. during new school terms) we send the money to the mother's account so that she can utilise it for buying uniforms, books etc. The banking charges in Singapore for transferring money is quite high. Thus I have deposited a sufficient sum of money in a Sampath bank account in Sri Lanka, to which I have linked the accounts of the children. From this account I can transfer the money every month through the internet. Also it is possible to set up a recurring transaction (over the internet) which will automatically transfer money monthly. If you are living abroad I would advice you to do something similar, to save banking charges every month.

Please note that the email address you find in the form is sevavanitha@yahoo.com (yahoo email account) and this might arouse suspicion. But you can simply verify this email by going to the Army Sevavanitha website (http://www.army.lk/vanitha.php ) and you will find this address under contact info. Sevavanita will take abbout 2-3 weeks to respond, and by any chance if they take longer you could contact Captain CN Himbutugoda, who will assist you to speed things up (Contact details fo the Capt. is found in the form)

Please spread this news amongst your friends and realtives, and let’s try to find sponsors for as many kids as we can. It’s the least we can do to appreciate the sacrifices made by soldiers and their families. I once again thank you for providing me with the opportunity and the satisfaction of knowing that one more child’s education will be looked after by a kind heart.

Regards
Hareen
"

By the way I removed some of his personal information from above email. Please email him and he will send you the form.

SF is a master of deception.

When the focus was towards Kilinochchi capture, he held it back and instead made a surprising move towards Paranthan

When the Focus was on a tank bund explosion and peelamists were dancing in joy of a rumor on Peelam War 5, 59 Div made a surprise move towards Mullativu.

Throughout the entire war SF gave good publicity to 53rd Div and the mechanized brigade and kept the Peelamists on their toes National Front, while the rest of the Div's nibbled away from South. 53rd was hardly used in the end:)

When SF says Kilinochchi, he means Mullativu.

the vital role he plays in this scenario is that he is responsible for coordinating operations between different offensive formations.

as a general he is well respected within the army and has a lot of military experience. he was one of the first to reach the jaffna township under the rivirasa mission. he was also in the sathjaya mission when kili was liberated.

Nevertheless, they have gold fish brains and will return with same hilarious episodes. Peter will start another clown dance of multiple personalities and meaningless words. Bhairav will complete another few rounds of MBRL to punnakku sellers [although he keeps on buying the punnakku]. And EFT is still looking for words to convert Mula defeat to a victory whereas Mahen is troubling remaining few neurons of his to rationalize, where they can "tactically withdraw" from remaining 20kmx15km stretch.

May sanity prevail...

Mulathieu gone Puththikudiyirappu and Viswamadu remains. I am expecting Puththi and Viswa to fall before the next week end.

Then SLA will either kill or capture Bhanu, Laurence and Theepan. Prabha will die fighting with his senior cadres extinguishing last fire of Tamil Eeeeeeelam!!!

Guys,

Why 58 div has slowed down, I expected them to come and meet 55 by now. However, they are still about 10km apart. This indicates only one thing, LTTP hard core elite forces are still fighting well. They are showing bravery despite of loosing land and cadres.

I am compelled to appreciate the bravery of the enemy! It is pity that they were misled my diaspora into believing eelam nonsense.

Whatever said and done SL is loosing hell of a lot brave young lads from both sides. Imagine what they could have done for the mother land, if they did something else to develop the country.

We lost heavily on that, heavy price to pay for unitary Sri Lanka!!!
