LTTE's old tactics no match for the 'new' SL Army

Heavy fighting ensued south of Chalai in general area Mulaitivu when a wave of LTTE infiltrators and attack teams targeted a weak point in the forward marching divisions last morning. The infiltrators were first spotted by the 55 Division as they targeted the boundary of two brigades of the 55 and 58 Divisions. The exact casualties to both sides will be revealed later.

During Oyatha Alaikal 1, 2 and 3, the Tigers successfully collapsed the Army's divisions by attacking them at the seam. This usually results in the two respective Divisions and their affected Brigades, Battalions all the way down to a platoon being split, thus opening up a gap through which the Tigers could flank the Divisions.

But this type of operation requires high morale, manpower and firepower on the part of the Tigers and weak leadership and morale and also inferior field tactics and strategies on the part of the Army, both of which were unavailable yesterday. A tactic like this will have little effect particularly on an Army which has 3 Divisions, 5 Task Forces and a Special Forces Brigade on reserve.

In many of the unfortunate occasions where this has happened to the Army, it happened due to low morale and inferior leadership on the part of some officers. Some Field Commanders-- from Platoon COs upto Brigade COs were concentrating on their own respective unit and not on the counter attack.

Meanwhile the LTTE has started another scam to discredit the Army and to give their fighters a fighting chance. The scam is to pose-off injured fighters as civilians who are handed over to the ICRC inside the civilian safety zone. From there these 'civilians' are registered by the ICRC and handed-over the the Sri Lanka Navy. The Navy will then transport them to Trincomalee Hospital.

Military Intelligence and Naval Intelligence have so far identified 30-40 such fighters from among the 'civilians'. They cannot be arrested or detained nor can they be rehabilitated like surrendees. If they are resettled once recovered from the wounds, there is a possibility that they might operate as insurgents from among the civilians.

Good one DW.
Do you have any idea how our forces are going to fight the last battle in the CSZ designated by the govt?

Defencewire said...

rajith,

The 55 is the key. The close it gets, the more chances of civilians reaching it.

Oh, also what is this operation Oyatha Alikal 1,2 and 3;when and where did it take place?

Defencewire said...

Oyatha Alaikal, also known as cease-less waves drove us back to Jaffna town then drove us back to Lanka Handiya Vavuniya. Army's strategy back then was to capture MSR, not to defeat the Tigers.

Identified injured LTTE cadres should be transferred to a different hospital, perhaps Matara or Hambantota. Yes, LTTE is knows to exploit every bit of humanitarian effort to their maximum advantage. These low lives should not be spared.

I have to disagree with DW here. If what DW say is truth about having no chance of arresting the suspected LTTE cadres, it looks like someone has got their ends twisted in our administration.

We have to remember that injured evacuees are registered with ICRC as injured personnel needing treatment, and NOT as 'surrendered LTTE cadres'. And even if the LTTErs surrendered to ICRC, the protocol that ICRC operates in Sri Lanka has no authority for ICRC to offer protection to the surrendered LTTE cadres (protective custody). ICRC will only have a 'moral obligation' to look after that the surrendered cadres are not subject to torture etc.

It is extremely unwise to let any LTTE cadres lose thinking that we are bound by this none-existent protocol.

ICRCs sole job is a 'facilitator' and not as an 'enforcer'.

So, we should not get our ends twisted and let the LTTErs go lose.

The duty of ICRC

yeah like "accidental" HIV,Hepatitis C,etc infected blood transfusions. so when this SOB's get cured they will go back to their thangachis and hump them, thus infecting them as well and also their offspring...thus exterminating the whole next sakkili generation....just my two cents on how to prevent a future PEELAM struggle.

They could be used recruited by the MI, if they provide us with useful info.

NOLTTE=Peace said...

SRAF,

Unfortunately I have to disagree with you!

They are also our people, and they can be rehabilitated and given new life.

Whether it is Tamil, Muslim or Sinhala, Sri Lanka needs our youth to take part constructively in developing the nation.

Last time I visited Mannar (three years ago), we had lunch in a small house. The head of the house is an Ex. LTTEr. He had left LTTE after being with them for over 10 years. Now he is a father of four kids, and carry a clean life.

One thing he said was "LTTE is a lie"!

Dumindak said...

"yeah like "accidental" HIV,Hepatitis C,etc infected blood transfusions"

well accidental is always prefered one, but never imagine even with forced infections, what comes around what goes around.

It is better to take them and shoot directly rather than going for HIV,Hep.. etc etc.

By the way SRAF,

What is this Revolutionary "Armed Forces" thing?

Last thing that Sri Lanka would need is some extremist thoughts in the South.

We are enough with violence. I would love to see a "Sri Lankan Rapid Rebuilding Force".

We have a huge task of building the nation (as a One Nation) in hand.

Destroying is easy, but constructing is very difficult!

Thanks for all the updates DW

Is it possible to disclose how long it will take aproximately?
Are we looking at weeks or days? or even a month or so? That would be worse case right?

I presume one tactic would be to starve them out, but this would affect the civilians.

Is it realistic to think that we can defeat them while they have the civilians under their control? Realisticly if they have brainwashed these civs and put the fear of god into them regarding the SLA which means the civs will stay with eelam. Now if they stay with eelam then what r the chances of us manoevering close to them and engaging them to a final blow?

They are pretty much done, lets be real. If the civs were not there, im pretty sure Gunships and some MBR trucks would take care of business. I try to fathom what the SLA options are, the only one that seems realistic is to starve them out, even then, it might be a mass grave as they will not surrender.

Anyways. Thanks alot for the consistent Updates DW.

Revolutionary forces are not needed to make the world a better place, just some common sense would go a long way. The trick is to have some ethical, down to earth and smart people as our leaders.

Army P1 are treated in considerable numbers in Kandy and Peradeniya Hospitals for the last 5 months or so though a few people in the Hospitals itself are aware of this. They are being looked after very well as there are many specialists in many fields such as Orthopods, Neurosurgeons, Vascular surgeons, Plastic Surgeons etc etc are available to flock around and do their 100% for our fallen heroes- with 100 from nursing staff as well. Thank god, they are recovering well and their morale had been out of this world. Kudos go to the excellent leaders we have.

Now hospials such as Vavuniya, Trinco and Kantalai are sending " Civillians " for treatment to the same hospitals. Majority of these people are young, badly injured with Artillery and small arms fire. Most of them are stone dumb, shit scared, hostile and tight lipped. Even though they are screened in a rudimentary manner, there is a high possibilty of most of them being LTTP'ers. If they are capable of blasting off in IDP camps just to make a point, why not in a hospital ?

Already the concerned Docs have nformed the administrators and the top brass.

I hope this will catch the eye of SOMEONE responsible and send these "Civillians " to hospitals elsewhere. Doesn't this sound like the most sensible thing to do...These to groups MUST be seperated..

Just a few days more to go. God bless our heroes and the leaders who lead them...

This is going to the year of Freedom.. That's definite....

Mr. Khalil and his wife has been invited by the state-run Associated Newspapers of Ceylon for week-long holiday in Sri Lanka. The invitation "comes with the blessings" of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, said a statement issued by the Sri Lankan High Commission on Friday.

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has already announced a reward of Rs five lakh for Khalil, who has emerged a hero in Pakistan for keeping a cool head and driving the Sri Lankan players to the safety of Gaddafi Stadium when the team's bus was attacked by a dozen heavily armed terrorists.

Sri Lankan cricketers have thanked Mr. Khalil for keeping his foot on the gas pedal as bullets ripped into the bus and driving them to safety.

Muttiah Muralitharan gifted Khalil his shirt and cap. Khalil, a driver for the past 22 years, has driven many visiting foreign teams.

How US 'war on terror' emboldened Sri Lanka's
The Army appears on verge of crushing Tiger rebels.
By Simon Montlake | Correspondent of The Christian Science Monitor

from the March 6, 2009 edition

Correspondent Simon Montlake discusses the recent successes of the Sri Lankan Army battling the Tamil Tigers.

Colombo, Sri Lanka - In 1992, Lt. Col. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa retired from the Army after two decades in uniform. A year later, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in IT. In 2001, he heard President Bush declare that "you're either with us or against us" in the global war on terror.

Mr. Rajapaksa didn't need convincing. The decorated officer – today Sri Lanka's defense secretary – had long ago concluded that his own country's fight against extremism, which broke into civil war in 1983, required a military solution by a united front.

"The lesson that I have learned is that peace talks will never go anywhere.... Tell me a place where this has worked," he says.

After a massive buildup of troops and equipment, Sri Lanka appears on the verge of victory against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. If successful, It will have succeeded where others in the region, such as India and Pakistan, have failed in putting down an armed rebellion by force.

Behind Sri Lanka's war machine is Chinese military hardware, foreign intelligence sharing, and a focus on military professionalism. "They've insulated the way the Army operates. It's purely military logic," says a Western diplomat in Colombo.

The government has also tried to clamp down on LTTE overseas funding, with limited success. While the United States has frozen two Tamil charities as terrorist fronts, European countries have dragged their feet, say Sri Lankan officials.

To its supporters, including exiled Sri Lankan Tamils, the LTTE are freedom fighters. That view had sympathy in India, home to more than 60 million Tamils, and in the West, whose governments sought to bring the warring sides to the negotiating table, most recently in 2002.

But a hardening of global opinion against the kind of violent tactics used by the LTTE has emboldened Sri Lanka to revive its own war on terror. Its chief architect is Rajapaksa, who returned as defense secretary after his elder brother, Mahinda, won the presidency in 2005.

Sri Lanka's allies were skeptical that it could take on the Tigers, says foreign secretary Palitha Kohone. A Swedish general who had commanded NATO forces in Bosnia and who led a cease-fire monitoring mission to Sri Lanka told him they had no chance. Other diplomats here shared this gloomy view.

"We didn't expect the LTTE to collapse so soon. They'd built such a reputation for themselves as being invincible," says Mr. Kohone, a former UN diplomat.

That reputation was sustained by generous funding from Sri Lanka's Tamil diaspora, who live mostly in Canada and Britain and are estimated to number about 800,000. Many fled the country after anti-Tamil riots in 1983 and are loyal backers of the LTTE's fight for self-rule.

Exiles also show up in the opposite camp. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is a US citizen after 12 years there. Army Chief Gen. Sarath Fonseka holds a green card. Researchers point out that just as exiled Sri Lankan Tamils often cling to hard-line positions on homeland politics, so do those in the majority Sinhalese community, like Rajapaksa. And, in a mirror of the LTTE's fundraising, Sri Lanka's Central Bank has begun selling "Patriotic Diaspora Bonds" to support postwar reconstruction.

The success on the battlefield has been shadowed by another campaign, that of clamping down on critics of the war. Since 2006, attacks on Sri Lanka's media have spiked, and a once-vibrant civil society has been largely muted. Last week, a Tamil newspaper editor was arrested and accused of links to the LTTE. In January, the outspoken editor of an opposition newspaper was shot dead in Colombo, the capital.

As defense secretary, Rajapaksa has equated criticism with treason, and he makes no apologies for silencing anyone who undermines the fight against terrorism. "You can't win a military campaign without the public support. You can be a genius or a hard person or whatever, but you can't win unless you have the public support," he says.

Sri Lanka's authoritarian tilt comes as the Obama administration tries to redefine its fight against militancy and lift the lid on the cost of war, in terms of spending and lives. By contrast, officials here refuse to update casualty figures or reveal details of a roughly $1.6 billion military budget. The war and the global downturn have squeezed the nation's finances, forcing it into talks on an International Monetary Fund bailout.

China and Pakistan are the military's largest suppliers of arms. In 2007, Congress halted US military aid to Sri Lanka over its human rights record. However, the US and India have supplied intelligence on LTTE ship movements, which has helped Sri Lanka choke off illegal arms imports.

South Asia is home to many insurgencies that have resisted military solutions, from communist rebels in India to Islamic militants in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

'Deep wounds and scars' for Tamils

Critics say the emphasis on crushing the LTTE comes at the expense of a political solution to longstanding grievances. They warn that a triumphant government could renege on past promises to devolve power to the Tamil-speaking north, spawning another generation of alienated youth.

"I don't think a people can be beaten down by force. What has been happening in the latest military operation has left deep wounds and scars in the minds of young Tamils," says R. Sampanthan, an opposition lawmaker.

Government officials argue that political reform can only happen after the fighting stops. They point to provincial elections held last year in the east, which the LTTE surrendered in 2007, as proof of their intent. In that vote, an LTTE defector was elected as chief minister.

The removal of the LTTE may open up space for political alternatives in Tamil communities, says Alan Keenan, a senior analyst in Colombo for the International Crisis Group. "But that requires the government to let Tamils speak freely, to hear them and to respond, even if they criticize government policies. That's what they've yet to prove willing to do," he says.

President Rajapaksa is expected to call early elections this year to capitalize on the war's popularity. His coalition relies on right-wing Sinhalese parties that oppose concessions to Tamils. A personal mandate could give him room to be bold, says Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu, director of the Center for Policy Alternatives in Colombo.

"Mahinda Rajapaksa has a unique opportunity to go down in history as a grand unifier of the country, to fashion a coalition that forges a political settlement along devolved, power-sharing lines," he says.

The main points of the above presentation are as follows. I added my comments to trigger a discussion.

1. Western intellectuals are non entities.

False

2a. West wants to destroy Singhala Buddhist Sri Lanka because it offers an alternative/challenge to the Western Christian civilisation.

True

2b. It was just during the last 350 years that most of the current Sri Lankan Tamils were brought to the island by the Colonisers - Dutch, Portuguese & Brits. with the intention of using them as a bulwark against Singhalas.

True

3. Most Sri Lankan intellectuals are brainwashed into worshipers of what ever is Western.

True

4. Indian Brahmins are the effective masters of India. They want to see the down fall of Sri Lanka's Buddhism.

False.

Without Brahmins, India would not have stood the conversion by Moguls. Buddhist clergy mostly Brahmins, the cream of the intellect, were contemplating in caves while the country was devastated by the invaders. Exactly what happened to actual Tibet.

Buddhist Brahmins returned back to more earthly Hinduism to face the challenges of the day and saved Bharatha from a complete conversion.

Indian Brahmins will return back to Buddhism when it is strong enough to allow them the luxury of contemplative life.

Brahmins are our best friends - Janatha Party president is one of them.

5. NalinS is the true Singhala Buddhist but he has not been given his due place. MR has taken over his Jaathika Chinthanya but many people around MR obstructed NS's Jaathika Chinthanya in the past.

Nalin seems to have little understanding of Buddhism, specially the Anathma concept. Rest is Greek for me!

6. Minorities should recognise Sri Lanka as a Singhala Buddhist country and accept that authority. In Sri Lanka, Hinduism/Islam etc can not be equal to Buddhism.

NS is creating a non existing problem.

Singhalese form more than 75% of the population and 65% of the population are Buddhists. Not only that, the ruins in every sq cm of the island confirms who inhabited it and created a great civilisation.

The people of Sri Lanka, Singhala,Tamil, Muslim and others should all be equally proud to be Sri Lankans and to share a common destiny. NS's sectarian approach ignores the human psychology. It is better to promote a single Sri Lankan identity with Buddhist/Hindu/Christian/Tamil etc components so that everybody can join in to form the new Sri Lankan Nation.

For example as a Buddhist I may participate in Hindu/Christian/Muslim religious event and fully profit from them as much as possible. After all, all religions are paths to a better life. Same can be said about the Tamil language. Languages are tools of communication. I learn Tamil and communicate happily with the 20% minority and also with all South Indian populations and do business with them.

This natural approach does not make me less Buddhist or nor less Singhala!

Singhala or Sri Lankan, lotus is as beautiful under any other name.

I also disagree that as the authority part. The place for Buddhism should be same as place for Christianity in USA.

thanks for the update DW.

LTTE's attempts to send away injured terrorists was discussed here sometimeback. then we also discussed how to "handle" it.

the point is these terrorists haven't surrebdered. it is necessity that brought them to the ICRC and for further medical attention.

SLDFs should make this type of "rescues" by ICRC impossible. it has been made very difficult already and tigers know that.

there is nothing that stops them becoming targets of unidentified gunmen, abductions, disapperences, etc. ESPECIALLY because they have NO relatives in govt controlled areas!! even if they have, those relatives don't know their whereabouts!!

rehabilitating surrendered tigers is ok. but until they give up violence whoeheartedly, the other types should be watched and handled "alternatively".

burried weapons and "buriend" terrorists (in the civilian society) is the ONLY way LTTE can continue what is termed as "guerilla warfare" after losing the war.

I think the top priority for the United States today is the safety and welfare of the tens of thousands of Sri Lankans who are trapped in the small safe zone north of Mullaitivu. The LTTE is violating international law by preventing them from leaving the zone, in some cases by shooting those who were attempting to escape. So the most urgent priority is to persuade the LTTE to allow the civilians to leave.

I have pointed the difference between Sinhala Buddhism and Buddhism many times. Sinhala Buddhism is the culture and that has nothing to do with the Buddhist Philosophy. Prof. NDS use Buddhist Philosophy to laugh at modern Science - not the way Buddha intended.

The major problem with Prof. NDS is that he is cynical and very negative. Some of his views are brilliant though, not all of them.

I liked his analysis of Tamil/Sinhala history. I'd like to hear Wijayapala's take on Nalin's video.

I see Prof. NDS's hypocrisy when he attack USA. I think he sees USA through the sold-out Sri Lankans and that may be why he is attacking them. USA has thousand faces and if you don't like one, you can always find another you like.

When the Sri Lankan true buddhist culture is at risk of wiping out, where do they run? USA. That is because USA has embraced Buddhism and consider a safe heaven for it.

"Today Pakistan is fighting a relentless battle against terrorist groups like Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and al-Qaida that were imported from Afghanistan. /Heavy fighting ensued south of Chalai in general area Mulaitivu when a wave of LTTE infiltrators and attack teams targeted a weak point in the forward marching divisions last morning./

This is obvious and well known tactic. When two divisions are there the boundary is always subject to "no one's baby". Enemy always attack these connecting points.

/Meanwhile the LTTE has started another scam to discredit the Army and to give their fighters a fighting chance.

If they are resettled once recovered from the wounds, there is a possibility that they might operate as insurgents from among the civilians./

/i though SL had no tigers /

Yes SL don't have tigers. What they found (black tiger) is actually called black panther. (black leopard) There is problem in English vs Sinhala usage for tiger and leopard.

Nowadays we think 'kotiya' = tiger.

But in should be;
'koyiya' = 'diviya' = leopard.

And tiger = 'viagraya'.

In sinhala we say "kale maru kalata kotiyage pulli maru venne na". Then 'kotiya' has to be leopard who has dots not the tiger who has strips. [pulli = dots.]

SL never had (in recent history) tigers or lions. This is from what I knew. Correct if I am wrong.

I too saw the Daily mirror news Item about the body of the black tigress.....as far as I know there are no tigers in SL. So, I wrote to a SL friend of mine who knows a thing or two about wild life. I have reproduced the reply below:
------------------------------
Article is written by a Sri Lankan donkey who is hard up and needs to make a little money by writing rubbish about tigers and stripes when he means leopards and spots or rosettes.

Or is it the translator who made “kotiya” and “thith” into tiger & stripes who should be ridiculed?

Melanistic and albinistic forms of many animals are freaks of nature and they do not survive for long in the wild. If by chance they do make it to adulthood and reproduce the genetic trait is not favoured and the gene deteriorates or is suppressed, only to re-surface from time to time for the advantage of hard up journalists and the entertainment of the rest of us!

Readily available examples of melanism – cobras (Naja naja) , cat snakes (Boiga forestini = Naga mapilla), dogs, cats, horses, cows, etc. NEVER EVER heard of black tigers. Siegfried & Roy’s white tigers in Las Vegas – yes. No black.

Black maned lions in South Africa & Ethiopia – yes. No white lions.

Kalu kelle & Sudu menike - yes.

The following video “Sri Lanka - a hollow victory?” was recorded at the FRONTLINE Club in London.

The panel consisted of:-:
Frances Harrison (BBC)
Charu Lata Hogg (Human Rights Watch)
Pearl Thevanayagam (Tamil journalist)
Raj Jayadevan (Alliance for Peace and Reconciliation in Sri Lanka)
Lal Wickrematunge (Sunday Leader, Sri Lanka) by phone
And, that well known Sri Lankan patriot Priyath Liyanage from BBC Sin as the chair.

It’s a long video, but well worth watching. You’ll need to keep an eye on the body language of the panel and the audience.
Priyath - finds the recent air attack on Colombo amusing.
Pearl - just frustrated with the situation.
Some of the Western audience - fed up with the Genocide cry.

At one point Frances and Priyath agreed that we are gaining ground, but they were puzzled at why we are not capturing any heavy artillery.
As expected the British Tamil Forum, TRO, TAG etc., were well represented. Cannot say the same about UKHC, which was also invited along.

Can you explain why?

(I think prof. Naveendran can)

War reports in SL news networks.

Some observations;

- all these reports starts with some sort of western clip i.e "end of war" etc.

It would have been nice if they put some deshyapremi song.

- most of these reporters are very passionate, why there is no Tamil reporter who got balls to criticise these BATA boys ?

RC,

West’s climatic conditions do not allow the luxury to go beyond what is physical. Buddhism & Hinduism go beyond the physical senses. Westerners are convinced of the ability of the physical sciences to solve all human problems given the fact that the sciences have contributed marvellously to uplift their living conditions. However, what appears to be a gain in the short term can be a great loss in the long term. Case in point is the rapid decline of the general health level in the West.

As much as NalinS is convinced of his unique solution to the National problem and insults / destroys / discourage all other propositions, Westerners are also hell bent on discouraging Buddhist approach to living : for example, they fight tooth and nail against accepting the Anathma concept and respecting and upholding all forms of life as much as possible and organising the society accordingly. Our society is already organised on these concepts over 2500 years and still stands firm despite 150 year Brit rule and incessant subversions against it, the lasts being JVP and LTTE. No need to mention Ranil’s UNP. Herit

It is normal human psychology that makes westerners hate our system – it is simple self preservation of their mind set.

Also, NalinS’s Singhala Buddhist Mathematical Science is all to his credit. He just has to prove its validity by putting it into practice and making Sri Lanka prosperous. For the moment, I know nothing of that sort. May be, it is me who is ignorant of his real achievements.

For me, Western science is nothing but the synthesis of almost all human discoveries borrowed, stolen or invented. Arabs made a similar synthesis of it in Damas when they dominated the globe and the West inherited it from Arabs through Spain and made it evolve etc.

=====

JWick,

I think it was you questioned the worshipability of the Lingam/Yoni symbol.

It is simply because that it represents the birth/creation of all known evolved life forms. It symbolises also a primary driving force of life. Hindus give due place to it without any hypocrisy .

I don't belive Budism is practised in Sri Lanka. Otherwise we can't fight and win the war.

So we will start budism after the war.

Sam Perera said...

NO MESS,

Yes indeed, the west is fed up with the genocide brouhaha and all the terrorist supporters heard enough of it. I also like how the terrorists played their typical role of obnoxious LTTE supporter role by making long political statement only to be pulled down by the moderator (what is your question). I am very glad that UK heard it loud and clear the LTTE is shooting the civilians trying to escape the LTTE grip, all thanks to faithful diaspora. If the tone of the audience is something, then it was about writing off LTTE and what can we do next.

You noted about UKHC. Is that our high commission in UK? In a way I am sad that they were not there to represent us. However, it is better this way since the views of the international panel members alone answered the false genocide allegations. Yet I think that we need pros like Palitha Kohana talking to western audiences.

Can anybody confirm that Dr. Nalin de Silva is the same person as L.N.K. de Silva who was a first year GSQ student at Colombo Uni during 1965/66?

If so there is an amusing story about him showing his brilliance.

MathaMathica1 said...

Weli,

Angulimala killed more than 1000 innocent men/women/children single handedly . He later became a great Buddhist and became an Arahath.

At times we have to kill to survive or due to duty towards the society. There is nothing wrong in it. Gahalaya is not a criminal.

Anyway, what you say is true. We first have to survive to be able to listen to any Dharma. Also, soldiers kill in the name of the people. So we who are keyboard killers are also real killers.

As a Buddhist I avoid killing but if I have to do it, I dont hesitate. Life is not a bed of Rose.

Funny thing happened today.

A Sinhala waiter here asked me if I am Sri Lankan.

I replied that I am Tamil; his face turned black.

I am sure he'll at least spit in my food if I return there ever again.

Peter said...

Anyway,I didn't eat anything there after finding out about the Sinhala worker. Don't want any diseases.

Copy & Paste

In the Kandyan areas it was a common practise to give their wives and daugthers for the guests to enjoy for the night. Lots of British soldiers and government officials enjoyed this Kandyan hospitality. The result was a lot of light skinned bastrds in the Kandyan areas.

The Portuguese and Dutch fornicated quite a lot with the Sihala women in the wesstern coasts. Especially around the Catholic belt. Resulting in a lot of mullatos around Colomno, Negombo, Kandana Jaela and Kalutarea areas.

The Sinhalese stil practise Kandyan hospitality so that important UN and other foreign dignitaries will decide in their favour.

It is a well known fact that prior to independence, many important British officials were bebficiaries of this Kandyan hospitallity. The end result was that in 1948,the whole island was handed to these Sinhala racists on a platter, withour any adequate minority safeguards.

We Eelam Tamils are stil suffering because of this Kandyan hopitality, whilst half caste bastards are boasting to the world about thier illicit origins.

Two stories caught my attention:

First Tamilnut reports that the Human Rights Initiative critizes the fact that the Commonwealth does not withdraw Sri Lanka's membership:

Then I went to this 'Human Rights Initiative' and dug out its staff list:

Now decide for yourselves.
